Merry Christmas
The bcu Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge has again been nominated as the ‘Community Event of the Year’ in the Coffs Harbour City Council’s 2012 Australia Day Awards.
It has also been nominated in the ‘Special Initiative or Event to Promote Cycling’ category of the 10th Australian Bicycling Achievement Awards the principal sponsor of which is the National Heart Foundation. The winner will be announced early in the New Year.
Without you, your fellow participants and the other supporters of our Cycle Challenge the nominations would not have been possible. We appreciate your invaluable help for which we say ‘many thanks’.
Preparations are well advanced for our next Challenge on Sunday 5th August 2012. Please come along again and bring your cycling friends and supporters. We love to see you again and again and will try hard to make you feel very welcome and to see that have a great time.
Personally and on behalf of the dedicated and hardworking Rotary Cycling Committee which I have the honour to lead, I wish you and those nearest and dearest to you a very healthy and happy Christmas and a New Year which brings all the good things that you care to wish for.
Yours sincerely,
Peter Wardman
